I have been invited to judge the Slovenian Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Show, it was held at the meantime of the CACIB Shows of Barje.

The place were it was held was lovely and the weather made it perfect.

In the morning I judged at the International Dog Show of Barje, Dalmatians and Beagle, which I enjoyed as they had really nice quality.

In the finals I had to judge the BIS Veteran with a lovely line up of fantastic veteran dogs, but it was German Shorthaired Pointer who paid my attention, he was 10,5 years old and was so fit for his age, that he was my BIS winner. After him a lovely Boxer, also in great condition for his age 8,5 years old and in 3rd place a Miniature Poodle that moved so well, he had great drive and lovely movement, he was also 8,5 years old.

After this judgement the Club show started although we has to stop to let some of the winners of the classes compete in the finals, as well as me to judge the finals of Group 6. Where my first was the dalmatian a lovely female femenine with nice and elegant movement, my second the Ridgeback who later would be my BOB at the Club Show and 3rd the dalmatian. It was a pity not to see the Hannovarian Scent Hound as I liked him a lot in the breed judging.

Let's talk about the Ridgebacks!

There was an entry of 31 Ridgebacks, more or less half males and half females. With a nice quality overall.

I couldn't make photos of myself so I put only the ones the exhibitors sent me.
